Go bowling on your Windows Phone

  • Easy to play

  • Clunky controls
  • Poor physics and animation
  • Just one game mode

Not bad

Bowling is a free bowling game for Windows Phone in which you compete to score as many points as you can.

There is just one, single-player game mode in Bowling, in which you can choose from three different colored balls and three different lanes. The object of the game, as with the real thing, is to hit as many pins as you can in ten turns.

Bowling is a very average simulation, that is lacking in quality and refinement. The controls are very sticky and offer little precision, the graphics are underwhelming, and the ball physics aren't very smooth. The overall presentation of Bowling is quite haphazard - there are some graphical glitches, the strike symbol flashes up way to quickly after you hit the pins, and the menu color scheme is quite garish.

Bowling is easy to pick up and play, but the sticky controls and lack of game modes means you tire of it very quickly.
